SUCESSO NA MOSTRA : A VINHETA DE 30 SEGUNDOS

À parte os filmes da seleção, um dos grandes sucessos da 26ª Mostra BR de Cinema – Mostra Internacional de Cinema em São Paulo, é a própria vinheta de 30 segundos apresentada antes de cada filme de cada uma das 788 sessões oficiais do festival.

É grande a demanda de espectadores e cineastas por uma cópia da vinheta da 26ª Mostra BR de Cinema. Um dos maiores entusiastas é o próprio cineasta russo Aleksandr Sokúrov, em cuja arte se baseou a animação exibida nas 13 salas que formam o circuito exibidor da Mostra. Originalmente, a arte de Sokúrov foi trabalhada pelo designer gráfico Ebert Wheeler, conforme se viu no catálogo já esgotado do festival, no cartaz, outdoors, banners e demais artes em exposição. A animação em computação gráfica foi elaborada por Amir Admoni, com música especialmente criada pelo estúdio A Voz do Brasil.

O entusiasmo de Aleksandr Sokúrov é tamanho que ele pediu para utilizar a animação em um de seus futuros projetos. Sokúrov é o grande homenageado do ano pela Mostra. Além da sua arte que simboliza a 26ª edição da Mostra, o cineasta tem seus principais filmes em retrospectiva e apresenta com sucesso extraordinário o seu último filme “Arca Russa”. Sokúrov debate com o público, na próxima quarta, 30/10, o penúltimo dia do festival, no Cinesesc, em seguida à projeção de seu filme “A Voz Solitária do Homem”, quando também será lançado oficialmente o livro “Sokúrov”, a ele dedicado e especialmente editado pela Cosac & Naify Edições em parceria com a Mostra.

Sokúrov interrompeu as filmagens de seu novo filme “Pai e Filho” para participar da Mostra, chegando muito emocionado a São Paulo na tarde do último sábado, em companhia do ator Alexei Neymishev. A sua viagem é igualmente acompanhada por seu assistente Alexei Jankowski, de quem a Mostra também exibe o média-metragem “O Pequeno Bonde Vermelho”.

SUCCESS IN THE ‘MOSTRA’: A 30 SECONDS VIGNETTE

Besides the selected films, one of the greatest hits of the 26th São Paulo International Film Festival is the 30’ vignette presented prior to each film in each of the 778 official screenings of the festival.

It’s large the demand of spectators and filmmakers for a copy of the 26th São Paulo International Film Festival’s vignette. One of the greatest enthusiasts is the Russian filmmaker himself, Aleksandr Sokurov, on whose artwork the animation, exhibited on the 13 theaters belonging to the festival’s circuit, was based. Originally, Sokurov’s artwork was carried out by the graphic designer Ebert Wheeler, as it is seen on the sold-out catalogue, poster, billboards, banners and other arts released. The graphic computer animation was elaborated by Amir Admoni, with a soundtrack specially created by studio A Voz do Brasil.

Aleksandr Sokurov’s enthusiasm is such that he asked to use the animation in one of his future projects. The Festival is paying a great homage to Sokurov this year. Besides his artwork that is the symbol for the Festival’s 26th edition, the filmmaker has its main films in retrospective and presents with extraordinary success his last picture “Russian Ark”. Sokurov debates with the public next Wednesday, 10/30, the second to last day of the festival, at Cinesesc, after the screening of his film “The Lonely Voice of Man”, when his book “Sokurov”, dedicated to him and specially published by Cosac & Naify Publishers in partnership with the ‘Mostra’, will also be officially released.

Sokurov interrupted the shooting of his new film “Father and Son” to take part in the Festival, and arrived overwhelmed in São Paulo last Saturday afternoon, accompanied by actor Alexei Neymishev. His assistant Alexei Jankowski also accompanies him during this trip and has his medium length film “The Little Red Tram” shown at the Festival.
